2. What do you require to book a reservation?
A stay of 2 nights or less requires payment in full to
guarantee your room.
Three
or more nights require a 50% deposit and must be paid in full 3
days prior to your arrival. When you arrive, you will have
nothing to do but relax!

5. When is check-in & check-out?
Check in time is 3:00pm to 6:00pm. However if you will arrive
later than 6:00pm, it is never a problem. Self check in
instructions will be provided. Take your time. Your cozy and
romantic room will be ready for your arrival no matter what time
it is! Check-out by 11 AM so that we can prepare for incoming guests.

8. How can I be reached during my stay?
All accommodations have private direct dial in-room phones. Our
call-in guest line is (508) 394-4153 and your private extension
number will appear on your confirmation.

9. Will I have internet and email access during my
stay ?
Yes, We have WIFI access on site. The little public library
right next door provides free internet and email access. They
are open every day except Sunday.

10. What time is breakfast and what do you serve?
Breakfast is served anytime between 8:30 & 9:45 AM in our
formal dining room with individual tables.

11. What if I have special dietary requirements?
With advanced notice we can accommodate most special diets/food
allergies.

Make sure you let us know before your arrival. We do not use
down pillows and comforters.

The Captain Farris House is a completely smoke-free environment.

14. Exactly where are you?
We are very fortunate to be located right at mid-Cape Cod in the
historic district of Bass River Village (a part of South
Yarmouth). Our lovely Greek Revival style house is situated on
two landscaped acres, just off the beaten path but very
convenient to all the Cape has to offer.

16. What about day trips to Nantucket &
Martha's Vineyard?
We are only about 5 miles (15 minutes) to the ferry terminals
and the airport. We have the schedules here and we send them
along with your email confirmation.

Parking is free, of course. We have a large lot within our two
acre grounds.

We regret that our accommodations are not suitable for pets of any age.

20. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Cancellations & Re-bookings
When making
reservations please remember that you are making a commitment to
us and we are making one to you. Should you need to cancel all or
part of a reservation, we must receive notice no less than
fourteen (14) days prior to your scheduled arrival date. At that
time your deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $30.
For cancellations of all or partial reservations received less
than fourteen (14) days prior to your current arrival date, no
refund will be issued and you will be charged for the entire
reservation unless we are able to re-rent the room. Please call us
as soon as possible if you must cancel your stay with us. We
realize that life does happen and plans do change. We will make
every effort to re-rent the room for you.
Reservations paid for with gift
certificates are subject to the same cancellation policy.
Early departures/late arrivals are considered cancellations
and are subject to the same cancellation policies.
In the event of severe weather
to the point that travel is unsafe. You will be charged for your
entire reservation and a credit will be issued to be use within
one year from date of cancellation .
