About the House and Gardens
Built
in 1845 by a wealthy Sea Captain,, this architecturally significant
Greek Revival style home has been restored to its former glory. The
restoration reflects its distinctive past while adding elegant
sophistication to its guest lodgings. The ten accommodations all offer
private en suite bathrooms with Jacuzzis, cable TV's with VCR's, phones,
bathrobes and hair dryers and private entrances. World class antiques
and exquisite window treatments adorn all the rooms.
In
our elegant dining room with its Waterford chandelier you will be served a full
breakfast each morning. After breakfast, stroll or
bicycle along the scenic Bass River. Pass by quaint Cape Cod
river homes on your way to picturesque windmill park and to the
warm ocean water beaches of Nantucket Sound. Fine restaurants,
shopping, antiquing and great golf courses are all close by.

In
the evening relax in our lovely parlor. Enjoy a complimentary
glass of sherry while listening to classical music or converse
with other guests who visit us from many parts of the world.
Here
are some photos of our gardens while they are in bloom.
